I have been to some restaurant in america. My hostfamily took me a lot of restaurants when i stayed in their house. I like mexican restaurant the best of all restaurants.
It was first time for me to go there. While we waited for food, we ate bread. I ate a lot of bread and then i wasn't able to eat food that i ordered. I didn't know that bread is like snack.
I learned how to wait for food in america.

Do you think having a massive wedding like korea or uae is good idea? Eloping?
I think that a massive wedding is good idea because they don't have to pay a lot of money.Many people celebrate can celebrate bridegroom with the wedding. But i don't want to celebrate with the wedding. I embarrass that a lot of people look at me.
Having it in foreing location like hawaii?
I have no idea. Perhaps i won't celebrate a wedding in foreing location because my grandparents are old people. They might not go to foreing country, i think. If i celebrate a wedding, i really want to invite them.
What is your ideal wedding?
My ideal wedding is small wedding. I don't want to invite acquaintance.
What would you definitely do or wear or go to on thta big day?
Why is that important?
When we usually celebrate a wedding, we go to a church or shine. We wear kimono and dress and also we say gratitude for our parents. I don't know why is that important because i really don't want to get marry.

I think that superstitions isn't important for us. It's one of the topics when we talk with someone together.

Yes, i think so. For example, when i write friend's name on the paper, I must not write with a red pen. Because if i write with a red pen, friends will happen bad thing.

I can belive it a little. My grandmother said that if you don't eat a bowl of rice completely, you will be blindness.
Because my hometown is very country and we have a lot of rice field. My grandmother wanted me to know that thanks for rice.

I hardly talk about politics and family with my friends but I talk about everything with best friends.

Yes, I have. For example, a friend of mine likes A fashion but I like B fashion. However, we always go shopping to buy clothes. We advise each other for clothes.

It depends. When I try to make a friend, it's not problem but when I go shopping, I care about clerk's clothe.

It's not so importnat for me to what foreign people wear but it's important for our society to what they wear. I watched a bad news a few years ago. The news was Korean girls who wore national costume wrere damaged by some Japanese. The main reason was Korean girls wore national costume.When I listened to the reason, I didn't really understand why they damaged.

3.What colors are you wearing now? Do they reflect your mood?
I'm wearing purple. I don't know that color reflect my mood because my favorite color are pink and purple. I have a lot of these color clothes.

a.Why are Japanese designer label crazy? Why is what you wear so important?
Paris is one of the famous place for fashion. I think Paris make new trend because they have a lot of famous fashion designers and they hold great fashion show. And then, Japanese fashion designer was influenced by them. They made clothes by Paris's designer idea and own idea, so they must be make crazy clothes.

I think we don't have people of various races, so we may decide to what kind of parson by their clothes. When I went to America, people had image of parson by race. Race is one of the trigger to know what kind of parson.

Maybe it means "You must not judge other people by look."

I can't agree with the website's completly. we too wrap things like chocolate, wash powder etc but we aren't going to wrap anything. For example, fance is protect our house for storm and kimono is national costume. We didn't have a sewing machine for a long time ago, so we couldn't sew curve line. And then we made kimono. Kimono didn't have to sew curve line. I can't say these things "wrapping".

I think deceased will go to hell or heaven,depend on what they did as they were alive. If they caused bad things, they'll go to hell and if they caused good things, they'll go to heaven.

The main reason is hold a service for deceased's soul and survivor pray for the repose of soul.
We think deseased will born again and then it takes 49days. Next, every 7 days they will put them on trial by 7 judges. So, survivor have to hold a memorial service every 7 days after they died.

First,my ideal man is that he always understands to me. My boyfriend don't try to understand to me but he wants me to understand to him. Second, my ideal man is that he has a big heart. When we graduated a high school or we got a job, we usually leave home. We begin to live alone in apartment or dorm. But some Japanese people tend to come back to home after graduated university and got married. One of the most important reason is some Japanese think that their firstborn son should inherit their house. He and his wife have to take care of his parents.

We live 7 people in my home. Parents, father's grandparents, two older sisters and me.

What people cry, laugh, happy and sad is a common expression all over the world. But I think people are a little difference how to show emotion. when a lot of Japanese are happy something, we usually don't use our face for show big emotion. When people are happy something in some countrise, they use their face for show big emotion such as big smile.

Try to name as many feelings as possible in Japanese.

The police arreasted three muslims men for an act of terrorism in London. When two moslims tried to ride on plane to Pakistan, they were caught by police. And then when the other one stayed at home, he also was caught by police. Perhaps they prepared for terrorism in London.



When I read the article, I thought a part of muslisms is scary becauses I arleady knew a part of muslisms caused terrorism. I think most of muslisms are very nice people. And they hope to become peace in the world. A lot of people has mistaken that muslim equal to terrorist. We should negotiate about other religion.

Class#4 Islam

I heared her presentation and I was very excited it. I watched a DVD before took this class. It so useful for me to understand about Islam. The DVD title is 30 DAYS. The contents of the DVD are one of christian American man live with Muslim in Michigan for 30 days. Before he went to there, he had prejudice about Islam. He confused with different religion at first. But he has uderstood Islam more and more. I also have understood Islam deeply like him. I thought a part of Muslims plan terrorism before I took this class. And then, it changed confidently by her presentation and the DVD. It's common in religons that a part of belivers cause crime.

How do you greet people in your life?
When I meet people for the first time, I usually say "Nice to meet you" and "full name" with my head bowed. And when I meet my friends and my family, I just say " Good morning" or "Hello". I don't bow to them. When I meet acquaintance, I say "Hello" and " How are you?".


Is it different for different people? Why?


I think it depends on people how I greet them. My familiy and my friends close to me but stranger and acquaintance don't close to me. And then, I change how to greet them. I'm greet pople who aren't friends with me more polite than my friends and my family.


Do you touch people when you talk to them? Why not?


I sometimes touch people when I talk to them but I only touch people who are on good terms with me. I usually touch them sholder when I talk to them. Because I touch them to show friendly.

About Buddhism

My garandmother puts something foods and folowers on family buddhist altar everyday. For example, fruit and Japanese cakes ,etc. These foods that ancestors liked while their were alive. The reason we put something on family buddihist altar is that we show ancestors and Buddha respect for them. And Family Buddhist later is important for us to faith in Buddhism.
